1. CONDITION ASSESSMENT
Every project begins with a thorough evaluation of the existing structure. We identify deterioration mechanisms — Hu2082S corrosion, chloride intrusion, freeze-thaw damage, structural overload — and document current conditions with photographs, measurements, and written observations. This assessment drives the repair specification, not the other way around.
2. SURFACE PREPARATION (ICRI STANDARDS)
All repair and coating work requires proper surface preparation per ICRI guidelines. We achieve the correct Concrete Surface Profile (CSP) for the specified repair material or coating system. Contaminated concrete is removed to sound substrate. Reinforcement is cleaned and treated before repair material placement.
3. FLOW MANAGEMENT & BYPASS COORDINATION
Wastewater facilities don’t shut down for repairs. We coordinate with plant operations for bypass pumping, flow management, and scheduling work during low-flow periods. Confined space entry protocols are followed for all manhole, wet well, and lift station work.
4. REPAIR & COATING INSTALLATION
Repair materials and coating systems installed per manufacturer specifications and project requirements. Structural repair mortars placed and cured per ACI guidelines. Coating systems applied at specified thickness with proper intercoat intervals. All work documented in daily reports.
6. DOCUMENTATION & CLOSEOUT
Complete project documentation including daily reports, QC testing results, material certifications, photographs, and final condition assessment. Delivered in a professional closeout package ready for public works file requirements.
